Our First Piano Recital

Lindy and Ethan had their recital shortly after our Santa Party. Lindy has been playing for 2 years and Ethan just started this fall. Paige had been taking with Lindy but wanted a break so Ethan took her spot. We have the best piano teacher! Phyllicia is a fellow home schooled student who is in her first year in college studying music and piano. Having a young and enthusiastic teacher is a blessing for young beginning students. They both love going to their lessons. The keyboard is always in use from morning until night and I think it paid off! Ethan played Come See the Parade and Jolly Old St. Nicholas and Lindy played Jingle Bells. Both were a little nervous but you couldn't tell! They did great and had a flawless performance. Daddy had tears in his eyes when they played, he is so proud to have fellow players in the house. I often find them getting little tutoring sessions from Dad. Keep up the good work Lindy and Ethan, we are proud of you. Thank you to Phyllicia for your wonderful gift of teaching and for a special evening with your family.

They look like a little married couple!
They played on a beautiful baby grand piano
at Phyllicia's church which was so pretty decorated
for Christmas.
