Earring Day - Finally!

It finally arrived! The day that Lindy and Paige could finally change their earrings. They have been waiting since they day they got them pierced, exactly 6 weeks ago today. In honor of the "big day" I got them matching snowman earrings and set them at their place at the kitchen table. They were very excited and Lindy was the first and last to change hers! The new starters were really hard to get the backs off and I yanked a little too hard on the first one to get it out. Tears were shed and she was not going to change the other one but I pointed out it looked a little odd to have a snowman in one ear and a birthstone flower in the other. She relented and let me take the other out, happily with no tears! She was so very proud and excited to show off her new jewels. Paige on the other hand watched the whole production going on and said she would change hers later. Later was not today!
