Elleigh and Paige freezing and ready to go in!
Since Pickerington Schools were closed today Lindy and Paige's friend Elleigh came over to play in the snow. The girls had such a great time playing together and doing snow paint. But we froze quickly and headed inside to have a snack of snow ice cream. I know not terribly warming but we finished it off with hot chocolate and they had so much fun making the ice cream and really loved eating it.

before heading off to shovel the driveway.

There is one work that comes to mind when
describing Elleigh - hilarious! She is probably
the funniest little girl I know!

We don't take snow days usually and today was no different. Since they can't spend too much time out in bitter cold temperatures we can really get lots of school stuff done. The kids are used to it and they know that the first spring day that is warm and beautiful we will be taking our "snow day" and heading to a park. It all works out in the end!
