In addition to their Christmas Party last week the Juniors earned their Ceramics and Clay Badge for Girl Scouts. One of our Girl Scouts told us about a lady who has her own Pottery Painting Business out of her home studio. Kelly was very excited to be able to help us earn our ceramics badge last week.
The girls learned about her career and how she developed her business along with different pottery finishing techniques.
They were able to create a 4x4 tile, along with a Christmas ornament. Both will be adorable keepsakes!
We also had a quick tour of her garage studio that has her pottery wheel and her kiln.
Kelly also has lots of pottery waiting to be finished.
