Happy Birthday Daddy!

Wednesday was Bill's birthday. Due to my oversight Kyle missed Boy Scouts so we were able to have dinner as a family and a little celebration. The kids were so excited to make him treats. Kyle and Lindy sang the "military birthday song" as he walked in the door. This was a special treat Kyle learned at camp last summer, he'd like to share:

I don't know what I've been told but someone here is getting old
Good news is dessert is free, Bad news is we sing off key
Happy Birthday to you!

We had a nice dinner and gave him our gift which was a collection of coupons the kids worked on this week. Everyone made 8 coupons with 4 being chores they would help or do for him and the others something fun they would do with him. He is going to be one busy man this summer with all the bike rides, walks, basketball games, and lunches he has been invited to!

For dessert Bill requested Easter cut out cookies which we all decorated together. It was such a simple evening but so nice and the kids could really enjoy feeling they gave their Daddy a special birthday.

Daddy gets tons of "coupons" for many fun things to do.

Erin is so proud of her card!

Happy Birthday Bill! We love you so much and hope you had a great day!

The best way to spend your birthday, dinner at home with the family. Happy B-day!
