Welcome to Fairy Class! Our first week we celebrated Valentine's Day in the world of our little fairy friends. Class started by making friendship bread, dough rolled in cinnamon sugar, baked in heart shapes, and decorated with fun sprinkles.
While the bread was baking, we talked about how small fairies can be and created a little box to put our "love token hearts" in and other fairy treasures we might have at home. Fairies are good friends and do nice things for others. If you see a sparkly heart lying around a fairy was there doing a good deed!
As we worked we made fairy names by choosing our favorite colors and things in nature on a chart and giving us a magical name. The room was filled with Holly Featherfoot, Apple Blossom Elf Glitter, and Strawberry Ice Wands!
Next week we will be exploring the Snow Fairies.

Oh, I wish Greer was old enough for Fairying!! It looks like you guys started off the semester fabulously! And was absolutely cracking up at Holly's little glitter queen (and at the caption).
I love this! Emma had so much fun and Adrienne is in heaven! Thanks for all your creativity!!
You have such great ideas! I can't wait to start implementing some of them.... you are having more "school fun" than we are.
