Camp

I'm still here! I have just been in Girl Scout camp world all week! It is hot, hot, hot but we are having so much fun! This is Lindy and Paige's first experience at a day camp and they are enjoying everything. It took them both a little bit of time to warm up to the routine but they are in full swing now which is leading to full time fatigue. We are exhausted when we get home at the end of the day but our days are filled with creeking, crafts, songs, games, snacks, and friends. Here are the first batch of pictures from the week. More to come soon!

Claire and Laura are the only other girls from our troop who went to camp. This is a service unit sponsored camp so the girls come from many different troops.

We did spray tye dye t-shirts to wear for our camp picture.

Our unit is responsible for the flag up ceremony Thursday morning. The older Girl Scouts have been responsible for teaching them how to put the flag up and get into formation.

We had a quick science lesson and learned about trees and reading their history in a sample of their trunk.

This was a challenging memory game where the girls had to try to guess the pattern to cross from one side to the other of the discs.

Sponge water fight to cool off!

Creeking is everyone's favorite activity.

Lindy really, really loves camp!
