One of our chick activities was to look at all the parts of an unfertilized egg. The girls really loved being able to get their hands in the egg and see the yolk and all the other parts that are now protecting their little chicks!
The best part was before cracking the shell they squeezed the egg as hard as they could and it didn't break. Little egg secret about consistent pressure being applied the egg will not crack no matter how strong the pressure is!
