After our trip to the museum Saturday, Paige, Lindy, and I went over to the State Auto building to view the nativity. Even though it was becoming bitter cold we read through the story of Mary's journey to Bethlehem and the miracle of Jesus' birth. The girls loved hearing and seeing the story as we are reading The Christmas Mystery which takes you back in time to Bethlehem and Jesus' birth. You could see everything clicking as their little brains processed everything we have read. A lady who was leaving with her grandson smiled and remarked on how nice to see their excitement. It was wonderful to see their sparkling eyes take in the true meaning of Christmas. It was a wonderful end to our outing!
