Goodbye to our Friends

We had such a great time with our friends Chris, Deborah, Alyssa, and Aiden. We were all sad to see them head home to Maui. They were our neighbors living directly behind us and the girls were best of friends the first time they met. What are the odds you would have a homeschooling family with a daughter the same age move in right behind you? We share the same values and that has kept us friends through their moves over the last couple of years.

Thank you so much for coming over to the Big Island to spend time with us. We made some great memories with you. We hope to see you soon, preferably in Hawaii not Ohio! Thank you for all of your help with our plans, reservations, and most importantly your friendship. We love you guys.

Grommy didn't realize how much Lindy likes to play games. She will play any board game or card game with anyone. She got some special time with her Grommy. I'm not sure who won the games, there were some comments that someone was cheating but I stayed out of it!

We were all a little teary eyed saying goodbye to Alyssa. I am by far the worst person to have to say goodbye to anyone. It is completely impossible for me to keep dry eyes.
